Disney Land 2012

Yay we finally had a successfull trip!  We took the kiddos to Disneyland in November.  We went the week before Thanksgiving and we had an awesome time.  The park was not crowded and we barley had to wait in any lines.  We invited Jason's parents to come with us.  This was a genius move because it gave us a 1 to 1 ratio of adults to kids.  The kids were so excited to see them and it was great to have lots of extra help.  They are the best grandparents and the kids love hanging out with them.  Brody was on his best behavior.  He was great the whole trip. His favorite ride was Star Tours he barely made the 40 inch mark with a few napkins in his shoes so he was able to ride almost everything.  We even got him to go on tower of terror, which he said he did not want to ride again. I took him on Thunder Mountain, I was afraid he would yell at me like Ethan did when I took him on it when he was 4 but after the ride Brody looked and me and said that it was awesome.  He rode it again and again.   Emery was such a trooper she is the best baby in the world.  We dragged her all around Disney Land  from morning until night, she pretty much missed all of her naps except for the few times she fell asleep in her stroller and she was still a sweet heart. Emery's favorite ride was small world.  She loved to dance along to the music.   Addy's favorite ride was The Little Mermaid ride.  She also liked small world.  Ethan loved the new cars ride.  He also like all of the roller coasters.  He finally got picked to do the Jedi Training, he was the best Jedi.  We had a really really fun time.  I hope we can do this next year.
We even got to spend some time at Huntington Beach.  The kids were soaked by the end of the day.  Luckily we had some spare clothes in the car.

First Snow Storm of the Season

Nov 10th was the first snow storm of the season.  We told Ethan we would pay him $2 to shovel the walks.  He was very excited to take the deal.  He did a great job.  That was the best $2 I have spent.

Bed Swap

Addy and Brody fight pretty much everyday but at the end of the day when Jason and I go to check on them we usually find that Addy has snuck into Brody's bed or Brody will sneak into Addy's bed.  I guess they do like each other after all.

Crazy Hair Day

Check out Addy's sweet hair.

Addy is loving first grade.  I just met with her teacher and Addy is doing so great.  She is such a great reader and she has scored 100% on every spelling test this year.  Addy is also a very great writer she is using descriptive words and she wrote the cutest story about Christmas. Way to go Addy!!!  The funniest thing about first grade is that when she is not getting along with friends she will come home and tell me that she has broken up with some one. ( I think we have Taylor Swift to thanks for this) Not to worry because they are always back together by the next day.

Cousin Halloween Party

It is always fun to get the cousin's together
This year we decorated Haunted Houses

                                                                    Cute baby Jack

Pumpkin Patch

It was a little windy at the pumpkin patch but we were trying to beat the snow storm.
Here we are on the hayride

They each picked a pumpkin.  I thought Brody would want a big pumpkin but he found this one and it was for sure the one.

October 2012

I have been having some technical difficulties with my blogger account but I think I got it all figured out so I can start blogging again.  Also I finally have some extra time.  Here are some pics of us at Corn Belly's.  We went with Deena and Madison over the fall break.  This place is awesome, why have I not ever been here before?  The kids had a blast and we didn't even have time to do the big maze.  That is okay because I think we are going to make this a Halloween tradition every year.
