Happy New Year

We made a quick trip with the Dixon's to St. George to ring in the New Year.  We had a great trip.  I am not sure if anyone even stayed awake until midnight, but we sure looked good.

Christmas Morning

The kids had a crazy night.  They all wanted to sleep in Addy's room on Christmas Eve.  Jason and I could hear them running around upstairs until about midnight.  They thought that they heard rudolph so they had to check all the windows and then they were so excited that they couldn't sleep and they were trying to keep a look out.  They finally fell asleep but Ethan was so excited that he came running down stairs at 3:45 am.  We had to send him back to bed and we told him not to wake up the others.  I think that he woke everyone up about 6:30.

Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas this year.  I was thinking that last year was going to be our last year of having all believers in the house but we made it one more year.  Usually Christmas time rolls around and the kiddos start fighting more than usual, but this year seemed to be a little bit better.  I think that it helped having Elfy Delfy around.  I wish I would have documented all of the havoc that he caused in our house every night.  It has been a fun tradition  to have him come to our house.  On Christmas Eve we took the family to provo beach resort.  Ethan  brought a friend and Jason helped them make cars for the pine wood derby while Brody Addy Emery and I played croquet.  I got to go on the ropes coarse with Ethan and his buddy, while the little ones played in the play land.  After that we all got to go mini bowling.  When we got home the kids decorated gingerbread men and ginger bread houses.  Then they got to open presents the usual pjs and a book and of coarse all of the fun stuff from Grandma and Grandpa Marsh.

Here is Jason reading the kids a christmas story before they went to bed.

Christmas Lights at Temple Square

Babysitting Emery

Jason asked the kids to keep an eye on Emery while he was trying to get some things done.  When he came back up to the playroom the kids had put Emery in the shopping cart so that they could continue playing the Wii.  I think it will be awhile before we can leave them on their own without a babysitter.

Christmas Nativity

During the Thanksgiving break we went to see the live nativity at Tuachaun, we are kind of making this a tradition (2 years in a row).

We waited a long time to see Santa.  Hoping to get a cute picture with Santa. The kids were very excited, Emery was doing great until I handed her over to Santa.  She immediately started crying.   It is amazing how such a Jolly guy can make so many kids cry.  So here is the pic that captured it all.  I always like to hear what the kids tell Santa that they want.  Ethan told him he wanted the lego set Jabba's palace.  Addy said a Leappad and Brody simply asked for a candy cane.

Turkey Day

Happy Turkey Day!!!!!  I think that Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday because it is fun to get together and participate in my favorite pastime eating.  No really I love thanksgiving because there is no hustle and bustle and we get together with family and I get to think about all of the things that I am thankful for.  This year I am especially grateful for my little family, it has been so much fun having baby Emery around she has been such a great addition, all of the kids love her and she is so sweet.  I am so thankful for our health, what a huge blessing.  I am especially grateful for the gospel it helps me prioritize my life and reassures me that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and looks out for us.  I am also very grateful for a husband who works hard for us.  It has been one crazy year he has moved to a new building and is now doing in house printing.  He was up at the crack of dawn every morning trying to get everything done.  He is is a hard worker and I appreciate that he takes care of us.  I feel really really blessed.
We had thanksgiving in St George this year.  My Mom and Dad came and Mark Shelley and their cute kiddos came.  The cousins always have fun hanging out.

We went on a little walk after Turkey dinner and these two zonked out.
