Potty Training Break Through
Last night I was speechless, Addy was in the tub and she said she had to go potty. This is a regular occurrence so I took her out of the tub and put her on the Elmo Potty. Low and behold she went to the bathroom. This is a major break through for Addy because she has not once gone potty on the potty. I had thrown in the towel on the whole potty training thing. On Monday I sat in the bathroom with Addy for hours, with no luck. Two minutes after we leave the bathroom Addy has an accident, with two more to follow that (luckily we have wood floors.) I told Jason that she would never be attending school because she was never going to go on the big potty. Of coarse she proved me wrong. I know we still have a long road ahead of us. Now we know that she can do it. We will see what the rest of the day brings.

Way to go, Addy on your first real potty experience!
How stressful, Jill!!! Two hours in the bathroom? Ughh. Fun times! I am sooo not looking forward to potty training Parker. People keep asking when we're going to start, but I am avoiding it like the plague. I'm so not ready...nevermind whether he is or not...
Congrats, Jill! Potty training is the worst part of parenting.
I just found your blog today through Manjanique's.
How do you two know Jenny and Baker? I am friends with Jenny's older sister...
Woohoo! Go Addy! Once Lexi peed in the potty it only took two days for her to get to the potty all the time. Hopefully, it will go smoothly from here on out!
Yeah for Addy! Let me tell you, training a girl seems so much easier than a boy. Was Ethan any good at the whole thing? I will need tips for boys
AWESOME! I bet you are so excited. When she is ready she will do it and it sounds like it might just be sooner than later.
Hannah I hope that you do not mind that you are on my blog list. That is funny that you know Jenny's sister. Baker is one of Jason's BFF's.
It does happen...when you both are ready is the best time and each kid is different. Congrats on the break through. Remember be creative and observant--1 of mine had to wear a bathing suit for 2 weeks striaght because that is the only thing he wouldn't have an accident in. I just happened upon it, and thank goodness because all I have to say is, "Really how was I supposed to know that???" It might still take time just keep it up!!! Good Luck!!!
Jenn I still do not have your password to check your blog.
I will re-add you check your emails.
